Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about relationships and flirting in general, and I’ve realized people are more out of touch with reality than ever. These days, to have a serious relationship, you pretty much have to be a real-life Henry Cavill or Angelina Jolie. Honestly, dating in the 21st century just doesn’t seem worth the effort anymore.
It’s sad, especially considering that most of Gen Z grew up watching iconic romance movies that portrayed perfect, almost unreal relationships.
And the result? A whole generation struggling with anxiety, chasing unrealistic standards shaped by TikTok trends, and valuing a lifestyle that’s incredibly shallow and limited.
There’s no going back now.
