Intro to my Art!

To preface, I'm not a professional artist, and not in the echelon of some of the crazy good artists on this platform.
However, I want to post more art blogs, so here's a bit of a dump of some stuff I've worked on before getting on this app.

First off, hi!!

I don't plan on a face reveal but I figure that you guys might want a face to attach things to. I've actually never done a self-portrait before, but I suppose I never had a need.

Moving on...

More often than not, I don't make art with a "finished product" in mind. When I do, however, It's usually with stuff from nature. Here's a sample of a few.

I draw a lot of nature, but there are plenty of exceptions, too

Often, I'll dedicate a page for doodling while I'm watching a TV show. I can't really promise high quality with those, but so it goes with multitasking. On the left, there's the page I made while watching Serial Experiments Lain.

I'm also big on Tabletop RPGS (like Dungeons and Dragons typa games). The right is a reference page for my character from a LANCER campaign.

I also draw some stuff from video games, though less often. Here's a rough sketch from HYPERDEMON.

When it comes to what I've been drawing recently, I've spent a LOT of time working on my anatomy. It's ROUGH out here. Shits got me in the trenches. But if I'm gonna call myself an "artist" I better learn this stuff, dontcha think?
