I don't know if I'm the only person who feels somewhat strange walking through the streets of a city...seeing how people follow their own paths, whether it's to work, home, school, hospital, stores, etc...It's like waking up from your own simulation and realizing that each life is different and goes through different things, but at the same time, they are so similar. Walking is one of my favorite activities, especially if it's in company. But when I walk alone, I feel overstimulated with all the things happening around me; it makes me think more and focus on the things I want or that are happening in my life...or at least that's how I see it. The night in the city can be peaceful or dangerous, depending on how you feel. Sometimes I walk and feel observed, anxious, or uncomfortable, and sometimes I feel like I'm in a movie, seeing all the neon signs, the humidity of the street, music from some bars, and people walking and chatting. Interacting with the people it is also fun, share opinions or advice with someone you just met, but sometimes it can become uncomfortable or even dangerous. Most of the time, I have encountered people with bad intentions unfortunately... But that is what life is about, venturing out, discovering new things, interacting, learning from other lives, putting yourself in other people's shoes, being empathetic... but also cautious. On the street, you can find everything, whether good or bad. The point is to be an observer and realize the reality and not fall into a lie painted by people who propagate depression... like feeling disoriented from this reality, or that we are in a simulation... the derealization. These are things that simply... detach you from your own thoughts. See reality with your own eyes, go out, have fun, interact with different people, to learn something from each one of them. By doing this kind of things, you start recognizing yourself, what you like and what you don't like, what pleases you or displeases you about people, what disappoints you or what gives you hope.
