Literally such a basic take but it should be more widespread. Like how are you out here making fun of theatre kids with your performative fashion, labubu, and matcha???

And we really forgot how most of these recent trends STEMMED from people having actual personalities... Like how are you calling yourself a "fashion bro" wearing a studded belt then making fun of scene kids?? It sucks like its really none of our business what other people do unless its harming anyone but these BLAND ASS people really love make tiktoks saying shit like oh I'm stuck in an AP class, why is everyone else a weirdo...and the weirdo in question likes anime... AND the comments FULLY support it. I thought we were all old and mature enough and grew out of being that petty. You'd think that every decade, where younger people keep taking older generations' trends and start dressing or acting more "mature", actual maturity would come with it but no, we like bullying kids for liking Hamilton because what's cool now is thirst trapping to some rap song you can't even lip sync to.

There's also this crazy contrast of goofy trends but people being too much of a pussy to actually do it right, but still want to be "cool" and participating. I can name SOOO many examples. Like for one, the coco montrese lip syncing to charli xcx... the whole point of the lip sync is to lip sync FOR YOUR LIFE. and coco did just that, but then some bland ass cis ice cream hair cut ass guy wants to be cool so he does it but DOESNT EVEN BOTHER TO GET THE LYRICS RIGHT and his face has absolutely no movement other than a slight grin. Was coco grinning???? Another example is the dance to that "ruby-chan? haii!" remix... When it gets to the haiii and they just do a small ✌️... YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO GO ALL KAWAII AND CUTE... but they just give some instagram influencer selfie pose. I'm not saying you have to partake in some humiliation ritual to have character, but if the trend calls for you to be funny, FUCKING COMMIT.

I miss when being cool actually meant committing to your character and making effort to do cool shit but I guess that's just kind of cringe now...
