The coffin of Andy and Leyley is a phsychological horror game, or at least that's how I see it.
I'll explain the chronological order. So, there's this fifteen year old boy called Douglas Graves who was the only child of his extremely religious parents. He meets this girl, Renee, who is a little rebellious but they fall in love, like, they'd kill for each other. Canonically, they were planning a murder when they were fifteen, but she unintentionally got pregnant. Douglas' parents didn't like the news and didn't want them to have a child but they were religious and abortion wasn't a choice because it went against their ideas. These two teenagers have a baby boy, Andrew Graves, and he surprisingly is a very good kid and very easy to take care of. Two years later, when the couple is seventeen, they decide to have another because, hey, Andrew is such a good boy, why not have another? So they have another baby girl, Ashley Graves, and she's the total opposite of Andrew.
Renee and Douglas were just kids when they accidentally became parents and of course the parenting was terrible. They basically neglect them, they don't spend time with them, they don't really care much about how they're growing or how they're being raised, they don't ask them about school, or friends, or anything, and technically, the children have a terrible childhood because no one raised them correctly, or at all!
Andrew was chill and calm at first, he was a good kid, but when Ashley is born, things change. The girl, for whatever reason, is more intense, and since she basically had no parents who took care of her, all she had was her brother. He was the only person who paid attention to her or cared for her, so my interpretation is that Ashley saw her big brother like her only caregiver, and she's grown to be attached to him in all ways, to the point she needs 24/7 attention from him because if not, he'll leave her, because she's never known nobody else since the day she was born.
Andrew may be the big child but he was still just a kid, he can't be a ''parent'' to Ashley, he's terrible because that's not the role he should've played. Ashley becomes so attached and toxic with Andrew that she basically doesn't let her older brother live. Ashley being so needy and spoiled, and Andrew being treated so badly, is the reason why they turn out to be what they end up being.
When they're children and they went to play together, Andrew invites a friend over, Nina, who kind of has a crush on him, and Ashley is extremely jealous, to the point she locks her up in a case and she dies from lack of oxygen. The day after, they bury the case in a forest and the siblings continue to grow crazier. Oh, by the way, Ashley and Andrew had nicknames for each other when they were kids, Andy and Leyley. When they grow, Leyley continues liking and using them, but Andy doesn't.
When they turn into teenagers, Andrew starts liking this girl called Julia, who has an older sister called Jane, but she's not relevant in the story. They meet in their childhood because Julia was friends with Nina, but Julia and Andrew didn't properly meet until they were teenagers, and people start making rumors about Andy being intimate with Leyley in high school, so Andrew asks Julia out to proof that the rumors are fake. At first, they like each other but Julia's feelings fade away when she meets Andrew more and also Ashley starts sending her voice messages where she threats her, humiliate her and in other words, cyberbully her. This is why Julia breaks up with him years later.
Well, that's the whole context before the actual videogame, and it's pretty long. Correct me if I misunderstood something. I'm gonna call it a blog.
