Three Radikal Rekerds #29: Loitering Linsangs & Lizardwomen

Sorry there was no update yesterday! For some peculiar reason I wasn't able to access Spacehey (as in the site itself, not my login or anything like that) yesterday morning. In the time it took to try and figure why, I ran out of time. I had fully intended to do a TRR focusing on the myriad projects of a certain friend and fellow Spaceheyannite, but I'm not going to have time for that until this afternoon. So here's one I prepared I earlier until then :D Enjoy!

Psychic TV, Kondole / Dead Cat
Genre: Industrial/Experimental/Sound Collage
Standout track: Dead Cat (Long Version)
One ill-advised look at this legendary band's (headed by Throbbing Gristle foundation member Genesis P-Orridge) Discog page will likely leave you feeling bewildered and listless, where do you even start?! Everything I've ever heard by this band betrays a copious capacity for surprise and eclecticism, so I'd personally recommend just going for whatever record's album art catches your eye and give it a gander. Or maybe give this collection of long, menacing, paranoiac soundscapes, reminiscent of the aforementioned TG's most pared-down and harrowing output, your close attention.

Imbroglio, Slimy Snails & Crocodile Tails
Genre: Experimental/Ambient
Standout track: Dance Of The Lizard Skinned Sun Goddess
A fine example of the kind of alien audio you'll find in abundance over on a Bandcamp page run by a man named Penga, attempting to digitize and archive the catalogue of a nearly lost label's output called Alternate Media Tapes, an obscure label that operated in Birmingham, England (my own neck of the woods!) during the late 80's and early 90's.

Vacations, Vibes & Days
Genre: Psychedelic/Rock/Indie
Standout track: Hamilton South
This one's been kicking around on my mp3 player for a while, and I love everything that pops up during shufflemode so much. If you love funky mellowness in the vein of TV On The Radio or Atlas Sound then you might want to give this a listen.
