i dont understand why most people are scared to be creative and be unique..not just in fashion but in general i feel sometimes looked down upon for not fitting in and being myself in my dress sense..i believe people are to scared to have a label be put on them based off there outfits and i feel thats stupid.. i know alot of people value others opinions alot and i feel that stunts your growth and open mindedness to truly be you ..and i seen alot of people wanna be perceived as nonchalant and not trying and thinks that makes them get more attention..when it doesn't..
like as me personally i gravitate to someone actually being themself and that gives off the true vibe of not being try hard compare to someone looking like every pintrest board or fashion tiktok i see.. i just feel like people dont try this day and age in anything and im worried personality is being lost in the strive to be perceived as nonchalant..
ย P.S hate that word XD so over used now plus anyone can dress how they want lol your outfit does not define youย

lately, people have been labelling EVERYTHING. whether its music, style, orientation, hair types, anything. and I definitely think because of that people are scared to be labeled in a certain group because people like to stigmatize certain groups and labels and they don't want to be associated with that ://

I totaly agree with you! but, i think people are scared to be themselves is the fear of being judged by others. I used to be like this and in my head, i wanted to be like everyone else so they would like me more and i didnt want to be judged because ive already been judged my whole life. and i would think thats how some of these people think, they just want to fit in with everyone and be liked. Im happy i grew out of that and realised that im never gonna fit in so might as well express myself the way i want to lol
Defo!! like i used to be like that to but like one day i was like "what am i doing this aint me"
so i changed i understand wanting people validation and to be like everyone else its human nature but i feel its better getting rid of that as everyone diff and its good to showcase that in your style!
