Do people in college actually have alot of parties? In high-school? I do online so it's a bit different than typical highschool for me ^w^ I want to know because I've seen that trope in media but I've never heard if it's true or not. I don't know if that's a weird or dumb question, but let me know!!! Sorry!! Also not sure if this should go in parties and nightlife category, sorry!!!!

Question for college aged people from a highschooler

It probably depends on the school, as well as if you join a fraternity/sorority.
Thank you!

Hey! So yes, partying is a thing. BUT - no one is going to coerce you or force you to, or make you feel bad if you don't go. It depends on your friends group and the things you do together to strengthen your bonding and friendship. If it is getting hammered drunk at a bar on a Friday night while charli xcx is playing.... or if it is meeting once a week to go eat out at a little place together, if it is playing games or watching shows together... that's all up to you! I can assure you, you don't miss any "action" or "youth" if you don't go partying, and you also don't become a "bad student" if you do!

It completely depends on the college sometimes. For a more local college, if you get involved with sororities and frats, then you will see more stereotypical trope like parties. For bigger colleges they're more common and big loud parties are more normal
Got it!!
