THAT 205 CMS GUY

Okay, so let me tell you about what happened yesterday (12-07) because it was one of those moments where you’re like, “Did that just happen?” 

So, my friends and I decided to hit the mall for a chill day of shopping (or at least pretending to shop, honestly). We were just walking around, doing our thing, when out of nowhere I spotted him—this guy who was literally 205 cm tall. I mean, he was huge. And by huge, I mean, ridiculously tall and actually pretty good-looking too. Like, tall guy goals.

Now, I’m not usually the type to just walk up to random people, but this time I was like, “Why not?” But, of course, I got all shy because—let’s be real here—who wouldn’t?  And for some reason, my brain decided to go full-on English mode, even though we were in a Spanish-speaking country. So, I just walked up, said “Hey, excuse me” in English, and the weirdest part? He actually responded in English too. We started chatting, and it was honestly a pretty smooth conversation. He was super chill, funny, and even had this vibe where he was just... cool.

Then, we exchanged Instagram handles (obviously), and I was feeling pretty proud of myself for, you know, not totally embarrassing myself. We kept chatting for a bit, and things were going pretty well... until we got to the age topic. 😬

He was like, “So, how old are you?” And I was like, “Oh, I’m still 17.” (Not that big of a deal, but whatever.) And then he told me his age, which wasn’t that much older, but he kind of freaked out a little and was like, “Hmm, I think it might be a problem.”

And just like that, the convo kind of died out. He stopped replying to my messages, and I honestly felt kind of awkward about it.

BUT, here’s the thing. I’m not giving up just yet.  I’ve decided that once I turn 18 (which is coming soon), I’m definitely going to reach out again. I mean, come on—he was 205 cm tall, funny, good-looking, and we got along pretty well... I’m not letting that go to waste.

So yeah, maybe I’ll update you guys on how that goes, but for now, I’m just gonna wait until I’m legal to slide into those DMs. 😅
