Sorry for the silence. I didn’t disappear — the power did.
Everything in the house went out around 10PM last night. Completely dead. No lights, no outlets, not even that weird flickering I kept seeing when I stared too long. Just… nothing.
I couldn’t charge my phone. Or my laptop. I couldn’t post. Couldn’t even text.
I tried staying put, thinking it’d come back eventually, but after sitting in the dark for hours and watching the food in the fridge go warm, I decided to check the neighbors.
Every house was still empty.
When I got back, I found a portable charger tucked away in the bedside table. It still had some charge left — enough to get my phone to 40%. That’s what I’m using now.
I’m back home, for now. But… I don’t think I can stay much longer.
It’s not just the power. It’s the way the house feels now. Like it’s starting to forget me, too. Like if I fall asleep here again, I might wake up to find the walls gone. Or worse — find I’m the only thing still here.
What should I do?
Try heading to the big city nearby, even though it’s farther and unknown?
Or stay put, maybe try to wait it out?
If anyone’s still out there, I need advice.

I wrote some advice on the last post but as i am writing all of my comments and reading all your posts at the same time, i'll say it here as well. You need to get out of there. In no situation is staying a good idea. Not except if there is actually a tornado and it has been coming for 4 days now. Actually you could probably run from it if it's that slow.
Also just as an experiment write something down on paper, take a picture of it, send what you wrote down to us in a blog post and we'll see what changes and how. (Still not convinced that you're not just high off of some experimental gas but ignore that.)
lmao the last sentence

I'm wondering if you explore to a place you don't remember, if it will have as much as an effect of places you have always known? Would it be more constant or not is the question. I would say if your gut is telling you to get out you should and maybe explore the city. If that doesn't work you can always come back, that is, if there is anything left to come back to. But given that you could wake up and nothing be there, I would say it could be worth it- just maybe arm yourself with a weapon since this place seems really REALLY sketchy
If you do decide on taking weapons, be careful. I'd recommend something blunt, baseball bat, BIG STICK, lead pipe, that type of thing, unless you have some weapons training anything sharp or god save, anything that goes *BANG* most probably will be a greater danger to you then anything, not to mention if the world isn't actually empty you will have a really hard time explaining that to a policeman.
