Minimalism In restaurants is pretty weird

Minimalism, as we know it in graphic design and every other aspect of life, can look depressing. The concept of catering your business to a default silhouette that defines modernism renders it unrecognizable if you were to remove the logos or all branding, especially in the case of Pizza Hut. Are we serious? It's not even a hut anymore. I feel like trying to appeal to such branding really makes them more of a sore thumb than anything cool. It just doesn't match the original aesthetic or naming of the restaurant. Chipotle also kind of feels misleading for Mexican food. It just seemed like the type of thing you'd find in Beverly Hills; fancy... and their queso isn't even good... I feellike atmosphere is everything, andmaybe I want to feellike I'm eating lunch in a restaurant and not a cooperate break room...
