My opinions on AI

Idk how controversial they are, but lets not get agressive ok

Tech products

I've seen shitton of ads with AI products by hugeass companies. I think that mostly AI is just a new fancy marketing word to make people wanna buy things. And most of the time AI isn't actually the main and necessary feature. Like daaamn who tf needs AI washing machine or AI fridge. I don't understand how AI can even be a helpful addition to those products.

Art

Ohhh thats some juicy stuff So, as an artist myself I fucking hate AI art. Like cmon people don't ya like the PROCESS of CREATING art??? Don't ya wanna feel the satisfaction of completing a drawing??? 

And using AI to save time/money doesn't looks good. I understand the intention, but cmon the quality is gonna drooooop. And in case of, for example, comissions CMON PEOPLE CAN CLICK THE BUTTON THEMSELVES. FOR FREE.

Ecology

Im not a scientist, but I've read some info that AI needs more power which means that devices and servers are gonna break and die faster so that means more garbage and pollution. Not to mention the carbon footprint

Human brain development

Im 99.9% sure that you've seen those jokes like "when teacher asks my last name but chatgpt servers are dead". I get that kids don't wanna do their homework and maybe its fine if that homework isn't important AT ALL but rely solely on AI in important projects or actually interesting schoolwork just because youre lazy doesn't really contribute to increasing your braincell amount. Im seriously worried about competence of future doctors, scientists, chemists, therapists, list goes on and on.

Safety

I genuinely hope that humans won't integrate AI into, for example, doing surgeries because i don't need to have a degree to know that one wrong cut = risk of complications or even death. And yall already know how AI gives questionable health advice like "low doses of poison are good for people"

Conclusion:

Shortly: AI is bad. 

And cmon don't ya agree that if AI is gonna do all tasks that are and aren't fun life is gonna be boring as shit? what people gonna spend their time on? Doomscrolling and rotting their brains
