There was a documentary me and my father watched about why people were barefoot before shoes were invented, like during those times where tribes were really popular. Long,long time ago.
It was because being barefoot, aka grounding, prevented inflammation and could heal sores! Not only that, but it reduces stress.
If you connect yourself to the earth, they studied that certain energies did something to your body that gave a bunch of benefits to it. That's why being in nature is so calming... it shifts your body to a relaxed state and speeds healing! This is why herbals exists.
So whenever you're stressed or some wound is inflammed, practice grounding. My dad had experimented on this when he had some inflammation near his foot for a week, or a few days? Without medication too! It worked!
