it's weird but it's working

so I have a new rule I'm imposing on myself.

I can only take a hit if weed is mentioned in the media I am currently consuming. TV, YouTube, web comics, if there's a reference to being high, I take a hit.

the weird thing is, I thought it'd be a lot more random than it is.

seems like when I feel like "damn, I could use another hit", within minutes there's a mention and I get to take a hit.

the part I find weird is I'm not looking for these references. they just pop up on their own.

reminds me of the time when for two days, any time I looked at a digital clock the last numbers were :11
