little bit of a rant, sorry
i fucking hate college during COVID. pretty much all i fucking do is sit in my room alone all day procrastinating, doing homework, smoking weed, watching TV, and sleeping. i live alone so i don't have any human contact unless i leave my dorm to go to my one in person class or hang out with friends in a COVID safe environment. even so, i only have 1 irl friend who i can actually hang out with since i broke up with my boyfriend last month.Β
i hate feeling so lonely, frustrated, unmotivated, and depressed all the fucking time. my mental health is at such a low because i have little to no human contact, am constantly drowning in homework, and am always exhausted. i don't know how much longer i can put up with this shit. if things aren't back in person by the fall, i'm going to take a gap semester. i can't do this for another semester after this. i don't even know if i'll make it through this semester.Β

fellow college student here - I totally feel you its quite literally ass. My campus is closed like most so its all online, therefore no one is back in town to be on campus so the city is dead and there's no one to even hang with safely. It's totally isolating and lonely which is why I've turned to other social outlets like SpaceHey.
My days this past YEAR feel so wasted from sitting at a computer all day long for both work and classes, I don't think anyone can truly know what college during COVID is like unless you're in it now because it's probably one of the toughest mental games haha
keep pushing it :) can always message me if you need a friend who totally gets this!
exactly. my days feel like the exact same thing over and over and over again day after day and itβs so monotonous and depressing and lonely. iβm sorry you have to deal with this shit too :/

Lots of time spent on one task really
But learn as much as you can cause itβll prob come in handy,
I got a BA and it was rough and difficult and sometimes, it feels like just you and some weed and no friends
But fast forward 2 years and now iβm working on a movie rn with ethan hawke and jeremy davies and i actually have friends so youβll get them back!!

yeah i get you. even my "fun" classes arent fun anymore since its all become so monotonous. i want life to come back ASAP.
