I <3 THE REV

i just got finished listening to the full nightmare album since  always refuse to fully listen to any other song up to nbk (natural born killer :3) because it ACTUALLY makes me so depressed. :(  if u know me, im obsessed with the rev and i always cry to so far away, victim, ttwd, and fiction. for so far away, its because syn rewrote it for jimmy (originally, 4 his grandfather) and that just fucking KILLS ME because syn and jimmy had the best relationship ever. ;((

ttwd and fiction just sound so despairing and its like jimmy knew he was gonna die. theres no way he wrote and recorded the demo 4 fiction just THREE days before his death without knowing he was gonna die.

and the reason why a7x will never ever ever EVER be the same is mainly because of uh JIMMY. THE REV.....EREND THOLOMEW PLAGUE!!!

..u can fight me, but jimmy literally made avenged sevenfold what IS avenged sevenfold. 

he contributed most of his time and talent into shaping a7x into what we know it as today. like writing the majority of a7x's most popular songs (a little piece of heaven, nightmare——a project of his that im pretty sure he worked on since city of evil days, almost easy, etc.) until the very end with fiction, which he wrote THREE days before his death.

its like whenever jimmy died, a7x died with him. he always had this sort of loud, unconventional, kooky energy and charm about him that always seemed to rub off on everyone and without him, a7x never really has that vibe they did when he was around. and i feel like the fandom never really appreciated that as much as they shouldve. personally, i wasnt even born whenever jimmy was still alive, but i feel like if i was, i would be just as totally obsessed with him as i am today. 

i also just know that jimmy would be so proud of avenged and for actually moving on, because, not-so-fun-fact, but when jimmy died, avenged was actually going to break up since he filled such an important and vital role and without him, they just felt so fucking useless/helpless. but, THANKFULLY, they decided not to, because they knew that jimmy would never want that for them.

and i know that people will be like, "oh molly get over it, it was 15 years ago, stop being such a creepy, jimmy-obsessed, stalker!!!!!!!!!!" 

no.

and dont say brooks is like the rev because, or is better than the rev because, no, he isnt. he MAY be better in drumming technically, but not as a person.

and when i say 'as a person', im not saying/implying brooks wackermann is not a bad person, or he said anything bad to make him a bad person. all im saying is that——hes just not the same. he doesnt have that silly, witty, edgy, weird, character about him that jimmy did. and i know, i know, "thats not his fault!!!" "ur just mad because hes not rev. get over it, kid!!!!!" or, "thats how life works!!!!!" SHUT UP. WE GET IT. 

like why does brooks' face never change dude💔💔🥀 GO BACK TO BAD RELIGION
