YEAH ANOTHER ONE. damn, i sound like dj khaled. annyyywho. this was supposed to be a writing piece for a contest, it was really just a rant i wanted people to hear but also think it was good and informative, but it was kinda unserious so i decided to edit it and make it even more unserious because i can. annywhooo!! i think im just gonna rage bait and not even say whats a joke or not because i dont feel like it.

yeah yeah, i know i started the others one off with the same line but whaaatever, deal with it. i cant think of a better one.

online dating is dangerous. im sure we all know that. when you decide to online date, you can never really be sure who your talking to. I mean, if you wanna fuck around, you can find out that gooner_boi369 is actually an old man in england. and v-bucks  isnt the only thing they wanna give you that starts with a V. you know the saying, no one is really who they say they are online. for some that means lying about your name, maybe where your from, or your birthday, maybe even what you look like, but most popularly, age.

now, this brings to the SECOND point. age liars. people that lie about their age either do it for one of two reasons. one, they are too young to be on the application that they are lying about their age on. or two, they are 58 year old (wo)man, and dont want the 15 y/o’s (maybe even younger, or older, just minors in general.) to know that they have a receding hairline, and five criminal offenses. 

again, no one is who they really say they are online. so if you want to mess around and find out, gooner_boi369 is probably not a hot, tall gym rat who’s 15 years old. gooner_boi369 is actually, probably, an old man named Carl with a wife named Barbra and three kids, named Rachel, Douglas, and Alice who is an infant. Carl is actually bald, the only hair he has is a grey mustache, and he has a beer belly. Carl doesnt wanna meet up for pizza on his “cheat day”. Carl actually wants to ‘netflix and chill’ and get freaky because his wife just had a baby and he doesnt wanna see “all that”. Carl looks a little bit like this:

okay i am in no position to tell you that you cant date online. sometimes, the person your talking to is who they say they are. ex: there was a guy who found his wife on roblox. Im just saying, online dating is like russian roulette. the bullet is the chance that youve found someone who isnt lying about who they are.

and another thing, catfishes omg. I cant, if you get catfished you deserve it. you're so deep in a search for love that you think this person wants you and coincidentally cant afford robux? most of the time its pedophiles that fall for this too and… that shit makes me laugh. how are you gonna believe that this 14 yr old (maybe younger) actually wants you and just as a coincidence their parents cant give them 15 dollars for a game.

once upon a time, i used to be a catfish (im gonna regret admitting that omg). but its because my parents didn’t limit my access to the internet. and youtube existed. and by the time i was seven i started messing around with makeup. anyway i found out that sometimes people would be kind enough to give you free shit if you were pretty enough. my robux and v-bucks weren't gonna pay for themselves… so i looked up on youtube a catfish makeup tutorial and took photos (NOT LIKE THAT, I WAS LIKE NINE), told an older guy i wanted game currency, and boom! I was the swaggiest person in roblox. 

i just wanna say this just in case younger people are reading this: dont do that. i, myself, regretted doing that  so much in a few weeks because i allowed myself to get groomed by an old man for robux, v-bucks, and video games in general. so please, for your sake, dont talk to old men, or women unless you are over the age of 18.

anyway pedophiles are pathetic. imagine being so desperate for someone to see your micro dick that you show it TO A MINOR!!! thats sick and disgusting. if you support this “age is just a number!” bullshit, your just as bad. btw, aaliyah wasnt right!!! age is not just a number.

and although its mainly the predators fault that the kid is getting groomed, lets talk about the other people at fault. the apps. apps like roblox, and discord, and even fortnite, do nothing to stop kids from getting groomed. AND OMG DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON APPS LIKE “wizz” BRO!!! THAT APP IS NOT TO FOR KIDS TO MAKE FRIENDS, ITS LITERALLY A DATING APP FOR KIDS!!!!!!!!!!!! THERE IS LITERALLY SO MANY MORE KNOCK OFFS OF IT TOO, PUTTING EVEN MORE KIDS IN DANGER. these apps dont care if your 13, or 30, as long as you download their app and give them money. a serial killer could be on their app and they still wouldn’t care.

plus, dont give me none of that “the kids should know better!” THEYRE KIDS!! they know how to use an ipad and watch skibidi toilet, not how to avoid predators. if anyone should “know better” its the predators, and parents. the parents shouldn’t even let their kids have full access to the internet. 

yes, kids can be dumb sometimes, but they shouldn’t HAVE to know better, they’re kids!!!!!! most of them barely know how to multiply, do you really think they’ll know that this predator is trying to get in their pants? NO!!! 

not only that, predators use manipulation as well as lies. some of them wont even bother lying about their age, instead some are open about it, trying to gain your trust and be your friend so that later on they can abuse that trust. some pretend to be police officers, therapists, or just good guys, and once they see that you trust them, they make their move. if you tell them no, most of the time, they’ll get mad and most likely pressure you into it.

now, im not just gonna complain about pedos and how these apps dont help without offering a solution. personally i think apps should add an age verification for anyone who puts their age under at least 16. if they are 13-15, i  think the person should have sort of safety system. And if puts their age under 13, i don’t think they should be able to use DMing systems on social media, and public chatting on games. thats just my opinion though, i think if that was a rule then they’d for sure be LESS kids getting prayed on and groomed.

STOP TALKING TO KIDS YOU WALL-E BUILT BITCH. and i highly doubt their are parents reading this, but if their is, keep your kids safe!
