What kind of car is it? I had to do a radiator and thermostat last year on my beater Civic and that was a "fun" job
It's a Volkswagen Eos from like 2013 I believe. I just had to get a convertible lol
Luckily, the dealership fixed the plug for $120, which is less than I expected. I'll get the antifreeze fixed next week, they wanted $180/hr to diagnose.. and THEN fix it. smh

Yeah, I'll be honest man VW's don't have the best overall reliability. It tracks that you're having a cooling system issue, it's a common failure point for those cars.
I hope you'll be able to get it fixed soon and get back on the road!

Dang. The radiator and the thermostat were damaged. Lol, do u fix your car yourself or did you take it to the mechanic? That's a really cool flex to know how to fix up a car yourself.

It really just depends on the job. At this point I can do most things myself (with the help of one friend if its an extensive job), because god help me if I'm paying $160/hour for labor. I'm doing the front wheel bearings on my car tomorrow, never done that job before so we'll see how it goes!
