Hi, hi, hi, I've been fighting for my life against this heat. I lowk think I have the opposite of the typical seasonal depression. I LOVE the winter so so much, but in summer I feel like a popsicle melting on the ground 😭 I do not like feeling warm or hot at all! But it's not as bad as it usually is. My goal is to get at least 3 shades darker, tbh. I'm already brown, but I never cared about colorism bs I need to get as tan as I can (safely! no skin cancer plz)!! Hopefully, I can go to the beach soon and play mermaids with my friends or something! Anyway, here's my June recap lol.

Magicians Quest- Kinda like an Animal Crossing game but with magic? It's another real-time game where you're a student at a magician's school, and you do all the normal Animal Crossing things. Plus, you can romance the villagers, but I haven't tried to lol.

Style Savyy (DS)- My 2nd fav Style savvy game! It's real time, and you have competitions you can win, but i deff like styling star better because you can do as many days as you want in an actual day!

Mysims- The mechanics of this game stress me out a bit, but that goes for every Sims game in general, tbh. Definitely need to keep the wiki and guides on standby when you play, but I like it

⊹ movies and shows that i watched:

Sinners (FINALLY!)- Typical me being super late to watch movies, but it's good! Kinda happy I missed all the discourse and was able to just enjoy the movie lol. Annie, I want u 👅

Straw- Another Tyler Perry movie terrorizing the black community 💔 jkjk this time I actually liked the movie, and it did a decent job of showing how ppl will ignore the people they see struggling until they snap and do something drastic. Tessa had me so heated, and I wish everything didn't happen on the same day because it felt kinda rushed and all over the place. But in the end, everyone teared up when the plot twist happened lolol

The Summer Hikaru Died (Show)- Desperately need more episodes, I love TSHD so much I cannot function. I hope they do the plot justice and don't make any weird changes. I need a new episode so bad bro 💔

⊹ what i read this month:

Bloom into You- Asked for Yuri and Yaoi recs since it was June, and ppl were surprised I hadn't read or watched Bloom into You lolol. I’m still reading it, but it’s so cute I can't wait to watch the anime!! I need to catch up on all the classic yuris (except citrus 😭).

Bride of Ignat- Another one recommended to me… Only 5 chapters, and updates are really slow! I can't say much because there are only 5 chapters, but the art is seriously so beautiful, and I see the potential!

I also got a bunch of visual novels recommended to me (Dramatical Murder was mentioned like 10+ times lol), but I already spoiled most of them for myself by reading abt them. I'll get to them eventually!

Omg I'm finally finished. I've been very busy for the past month, but not in a draining way. I am very prone to feeling bored and unmotivated. I think it was because I had stopped incorporating hobbies into my daily life. I was treating hobbies as a special treat for a special day or something that I had to be in a good enough state for. But randomly overnight, a switch flipped in my brain, and I realized that I don't have to be good enough to enjoy anything. I don't have to be a pro to enjoy drawing, and I don't have to be some legendary author to enjoy writing. I'll never get better if I refuse to start until I feel like im good enough. How are you EVER going to be good enough if you don't practice? It's okay to be bad at something, but as long as you are having fun and continue trying to work towards your goal, you'll be okay! Idk if any of that makes sense, but it's okay, I understand it lol. Alrighty, that's it. ily, bye! 💌
