now, like i said earlier, ive posted about this on my tiktok a few times now, as well as once on my Tumblr. the first post was mostly meant as a suggestion, while the second post detailed basic guidelines on how this movement would go. the third post was pretty much just restating what i said in the previous tumblr post about this, so i'm not going to be linking that one, but it's still up on my page.

pretty much, we're bringing back the fun, whimsical aspects of the internet during the 2000s and 2010s- despite the issues at the time, it was a lot more authentically fun back then. on most forms of social media, you could kinda post whatever you felt like, and as long as you weren't hurting anyone or anythinh, you'd rarely get hate for it. nowadays, you cant say or do anything without someone threatening you over it, especially on tiktok, twitter, and instagram. people on those platforms have redefined bullying as something "funny," "cool," or in worst cases, the victim's fault. i've learned you cant talk these people out of being rude, but you can tune them out by being you. thus, if we all start being authentic online again, we can drown out unwanted negativity. so, if you're ready for fun in a new package, join the Internet Renaissance!! add kudos/comment if youre interested!!
