emo: arms length, marietta, tiger bike, merchant ships, eightyhourswaiting, flight patterns, the hotelier, tigers jaw, and nevershoutnever

slam/bdm: devourment, gamma sector, gates to hell, afterbirth, engutteralment cephaloslamectomy, stabbing, decomposing, snuffed on sight(core-ish), abominable putridity, and anal prolapse 

black metal: vampyric, asmodeus, the secret, advent sorrow, baphomets horns, K.D.R, naamah, an autumn for crippled children, lifeless exhale, xasthur, lebenssucht, crîng, afsky, burzum, and helleruin

metalcore: adept, isetmyfriendsonfire, attack attack, camisado, broadway showdown, seeyouspacecowboy, converge, vampires everywhere, motionless in white, and famous last words

mathcore: meth, arsonists get all the girls, see you next tuesday, the tony danza tapdance experience, oktober skyline, gaza, botch, some girls, and duck duck goose
