okay so I've been doing this in my notes app for like... months now, and I figured, hey! why nit share my work right? anyway if anyone wants me to do a specific lyric just lmk!

I take the lyrics "And If you don't find me on the front page, find a way to say that you saw me, and If you don't find me in a movie find a way to say that you knew me." as the narrator hinting to the fact that they are amounting to nothing and they feel like nobody. This person wants their loved ones to remember them even if they weren't In a magazine or movie. they may not be a person to many but they are to few.

i the lyrics "you're a payphone away from the mess that I've become." as you knew someone, and that said someone left you out to dry. they made you love them and you fell for it. they would come back and leave over and over again, and one time they never came back, leaving you a mess. a shell of the person you once were.

I take the lyric "scaring the thought of kissing razors" as you scaring yourself with what you could be doing to yourself when your that depressed rather than actually doing it. scaring yourself with the pain you could cause to yourself and your family.

the lyrics "can we create something beautiful and destroy it." is talking about how you can create something so beautiful, strong, and healthy with someone, yet you still find a way to destroy it and have it all crash and burn.

to me the lyrics "I'm crying in the water so you don't hear the sound." means that you're keeping everything to yourself. keeping you pain and every single thing you feel to yourself so you don't put the burden of your feelings onto your friends and loved ones.

i take the lyrics "you washed me off, then spit me out once I lost taste inside your mouth." as a person you love and you care for just using you for something they want. and once you can no longer give them what they want they'll spit you out.

are these extremely surface level with honestly little to no thought put into them... yes. but hey I don't care! I'm just writing what comes to my mind when I hear these lyrics! if you dont like them then fuck off and write your own<3
