If you would like to friend me, I won't be (for the most part) the first when starting a chat with new friends, since I feel weird/awkward doing so. (I may have social anxiety too, but I don't have any official diagnosis or anything, so take that with a grain of salt). Of course, that has nothing to do with you, so there's no need to shy away either! I am more comfortable talking with people who are socially anxious/asocial themselves, since I can relate to the struggle quite a lot! A simple 'hi' or a 'how are you' is enough if you don't feel like it at all. I probably won't be here on this website during school days, and may forget that I have an account.
