is it bad that I kinda like minimalism

don't get me wrong, old internet aesthetics with glitter and shading in your face are beautiful and shaped my personality, but they get really hard to handle when im trying to make a theme for websites like Tumblr and spacehey. 

minimalism is good for me because I know where everything is immediately and Its not too much to take in, but I don't wanna be boring.
