Sophomore year (nervous?)

I know it is too early for me to be thinking about school and all that stuff but i heard people talking about sophomore slump? I think i already had that freshman year personally. Freshman year was not it for me at all. I have to retake Algebra 1 for the second time and i hate it. I've tried to get help last year but its like my brain doesn't want to understand it. I think my brains just messed up from something but i cant figure out what it is..

I had to switch to foundations for the second semester last year and my brain understood it better and easier (don't know if those or close to the same words) I feel like im gonna struggle again this year and i hope i dont have teh same teacher as last year,she wasnt helpful even when i told her i didnt understand whatsoever.
