So this might be VERY controversial, but i still buy shein and stuff. I know how there was stuff going around about them using child labor but doesn't so many other stores, and its mostly in the alt community that's shaming people for shopping on there.
These are some examples that i found online and from research
- Nike: Historically criticized for labor practices, including child labor in some factories.
- Adidas: Similar to Nike, Adidas has faced allegations related to child labor in its supply chain.
- H&M: The company has been linked to suppliers that reportedly use child labor, particularly in developing countries.
- Gap Inc.: This includes brands like Gap, Old Navy, and Banana Republic, which have faced scrutiny for labor practices.
- Zara (Inditex): Accusations have arisen regarding child labor in factories that produce clothing for Zara.
- Forever 21: The brand has faced allegations of using suppliers that exploit child labor.
- Primark: Has been linked to child labor in its supply chain, particularly in South Asia
I also found out that microsoft and hersheys use child labor as well.

Shein is often singled out because of its extremely low prices, rapid production cycles, and lack of transparency about its suppliers. That said, it’s not the only brand with these issues. many big names have struggled with similar „problems.“
No one can be perfect, but being aware of these issues and making small changes where possible does make a difference.
