from a person who’s been bullied and have bullied others, the reason is mostly the same- being insecure and when you see a person who’s different or something like that, you see that this person expresses themselves in a way you wish you would. so, because you can’t express the real you because of the fear that you might end up bullying too, you just project ur insecurities. in other cases, just because people are genuinely enjoying bullying others for no reason. that’s all!
When someone is insecure about something, they cover it and never show it to anyone. And when they see someone with the same insecurity but accepting it, they think it's making them a loser, someone that should be avoided. So they make fun of that person that is actually loving themselves and doing the right thing.
