This is my first blog. I'm just gonna shove life updates in here I guess. Maybe shitposts idk. Just for today though. I should talk about my recent purchase of a CRT monitor. It arrived today and I'm using it right now. the blacks are deeper than an oled and the colors are very vibrant but its very analog.
You can hear the buzzing you can see the twitching. Its not for everyone but god I think every bit of it is beautiful.
It's a dell e773c I believe??? its very very good. would reccomend if youre super into retro stuff or you like sharp colors and bubbly screens like I do.

I love it when ppl play octo expansion on old tvs for example, bc it looks Soo at home there
Ive played a few games on it. The higher refresh rate really makes games feel smoother. if someone was playing games just for the game to be smooth these monitors are good. Also classic games look way better on this monitor they don't look as pixelated they look really good.

tbf you do trade resolution for all of these benefits. though low resolution on CRTs doesnt look as bad its still low resolution so its not for everyone. I'm just a freak for old tech but there are tradeoffs to be aware of.
