‎‧₊˚✧the world may never know what goes on after dark✧˚₊‧

I have always been the odd ball because of my view on d*ath, I accept it, I am not afraid of it. In all honesty, I yearn for it. I often wonder where we go once we pass, do we become one with Mother Earth? I would like to come back as some sort of tree- specifically a Willow tree. They resemble resilience, healing and dreams. Do we become an animal? If so, I think I would enjoy being a cat, snake, or even a bird, like a raven or crow. Maybe even a possum. I know certain religions have different views on what and where we go- so let me end this with a question! 

If you are, or were , religious, what was/is your view on what happens after death? And if you aren’t either of these, what do you think happens when we pass, if anything? I would love to read your answers!
