ai "artists" confuse me so much

like i just dont get how someone can happily admit they make "art" or "music" with ai... like is i something theyre proud of? like theyre proud that they were able to create something that required almost no thought or hard work..?? im sorry i just cant get my head around this is there something about ai slop that im missing
