mild win for one of my country's national radio station

I usually hate national radio and can't escape it at work, but it has been playing some bops lately, though not as much as I'd like.

Today I heard "Welcome to the Black Parade" right in the middle of the morning. How cool right?

Last week, they played a lot of Taylor Swift's "Trouble" and a bunch of Avril Lavigne's songs like "My Happy Ending" and "Nobody's Home". (I love AVL <3)

Back to today, I also heard Linkin Park's "Breaking the Habit" and Blink-182's "I Miss You".

And about LP, I'm pretty sure they played "Numb" last Friday or something.

Today was a slower Tuesday. :P

It's always fun when radio plays old hits, because usually you just hear random stuff you don't care about on the radio, or stuff that came out recently. For a lot of people, both of those are the same thing.

MCR, Linkin Park and Blink 182 is a pretty solid trio to play on the radio. I don't even remember the first time I've heard 182 on my own local radio stations. Very cool win!

I know, right? Especially radio nowadays. But, in my country, there's a bunch of nonsense playing on the radios nowadays that mostly only people from big cities listen to.

Tho, LP is still quite popular over here and very cherished, plus they've confirmed their presence in one of this season's music festivals.

Sometimes, these radio stations play some decent music, but most of the time it's BS.

Yeah, radio stations definitely do that. Radios are meant to play top hits mostly anyway, so you're bound to hear a lot of junk, like it or not. But it's always fun when something like LP or Eminem just come crawling back up from the dead :)

LP is still kinda relevant since From Zero started rolling out, so it makes sense they're still around, and I'm super happy wherever you are, they're still being cherished! Another friend already told me they're touring at a festival near them too, so that will be very cool!
