istg all of my friends are just on their phone all day long. I try to talk or hang out and theyre scrolling on tiktok or sm shit. Im on summer break and all I did was play e33 and do useless stuff on the internet. I wanna be able to go to the mall with my friends after school and fuck around and then come home and have my mom yell at me for it. I wanna burn cds and give them to my friends. I wanna watch mtv every saturday night and be pissed if I missed it. I wanna do stupid shit like sneak out when my parents arent home and go to the store and buy a bunch of useless stuff. Believe me I would if all my friends weren't all chronically online. Also like, all the scene kids are modern scene not 2000s scene these days (not hating on modern scene or scenecore, im just saying).

imma be brutally honest w u, please dont take offense, but like... this the kinda "i was born in the wrong generation" that eventually gets past you. growin up, you learn to appreciate the now, cause the future is honestly always brighter than the past. 2000s mfs couldnt even keep their peanut butter uncontaminated in Atlanta, i think today is much better than years past. Its all rose tinted glasses. Tho, i agree with you on the phone thing. Mfs really be attracted to TikTok like moths to a light.

I relate to this so hard ughgh… I’m going through crappy side effects of withdrawing from medication atm but I don’t even have any friends who want to do stuff :/ I’d kill to sit in the mall and take photos with people grr
also as a scene kid, I can completely agree. I have nothing against scenecore. I just don’t like people who call it “scene” because it’s not scene at all lolz
