i ' ve noticed a lot of people under 13 using this site , and not only that but they are very open about their age which concerns me even more ??
i don ' t have to say much about this topic rather than how i have noticed how majority of people are hesitant to point it out too , i do understand that while it may be seen as annoying it ' s the best for them to not use this platform or social medias in general
digital safety should be taken seriously

when I was 13 everyone was 16, now that I'm 16 everyone is 13... funny how that works .-.

Ya! I was just gonna make another blog post about this topic but on another note, tbh the reason why kids are probs on social media is cause theres not rlly a space for them yk, especially for preteens. Like if they maybe had like their version of a club penguin or something like that they would all go there. But yah it is real unsafe for em :<
i believe roblox can be a great alternative but even so , social medias like discord and twitter are often brought up and its usage is endorsed through it
children can come across and have access to it :-(
but even so roblox has always had its own flaws
to be fair internet spaces for children are very limited and unfortunately flawed , i generally think that the internet is not an ideal space you ' d want your child to wander in

yeah, i worry a lot when people under 13 join this website. while i do remember being younger and joining platforms that were strictly 13+ despite me being underage, i do not think it's a healthy practice for those under that age to join those kind of platforms despite that being normal.
social media that are 13+ can even be too much for those who are 13 year old if they don't filter content pushed out to them and generally curate their space, so 12 year olds or younger joining those platforms is just... incredibly rough. i surely didn't share my age when i was too young for a platform, and it's offputting how these 12 year olds share theirs
like the best people can do is report these people, and hope that spacehey will take action soon enough. i remember when people would use bulletins to share accounts that were 12 year olds so they could be mass reported, in case that spacehey were to be slow in taking the account down, but i'm unsure if thats a frequent practice now
i remember that too ,, unfortunately today i came across someone who was as young as 11 , being very open about their age on here and it concerned me :-((

yeah thats very concerning. yikes. i guess i cant blame them for coming here because there aren't much spaces for kids in that age group, but yeah thats unfortunate. i wished people reported those accounts more often : (
