here are just a few recs!!
"when life gives you tangerines" - this is a kdrama i recently watched like a few weeks ago. i will sum it up as a sweet and emotional long, journey of a relationship and family.
"i am a cyborg but that's okay" - this movie is very weird and pretty artsy, but it's very meaningful and i like it's treatment of serious topics such as sh, ed, and mental health. this is probably one of the most interesting romance movies i've ever seen!!!
"to wong foo, thanks for everything! julie newmar" - a movie about drag queens traveling! i found many moments very funny. this movie is generally a lighthearted one
"kpop demon hunters" - animated movie recently released. its very awesome whether you don't care for kpop or not
i'm sure i could probably give more recs but my brain juice is running out i guess
hmm okay i thought of some more!!!
"atypical" - this show is something i've recently watched. more sweeter than i thought and i love the journey of it all. it revolves around an autistic teen soon-to-be adult who is navigating his teenhood and soon adulthood. it also gives screentime to his other family memebers as well
"nana" - honestly this anime is just so real and raw to me. one of the best animes i've seen, which i guess isn't saying much because i don't have a massive list of animes i've watched but- yeah this is so good. also love the queer tension between the two main characters
"lovely complex" - i've been recently watching this and i just have to say. i don't remember any other anime i've watched giving me this much laughs as this one. was very surprised that many comedic moments landed. its about romance between a tall girl and short guy. i've been recently watching this. only just a few aspects of the series dont age well but yeah thats older anime for you i guess
