expunged shading test because my last full piece had the most god awful shading

then all of the sudden i started drawing like this. i think it's neat, a lot nicer than the weird chibi-ish proportions that i was doing before

and as the finisher..... gay people. i really don't know why i find so much comfort in ships that 90% of people would recognize as toxic af in canon (these two, madpunged and strongstar are the main ones). maybe i just have a thing for evil dude secretly having a soft side for the guy they beat up all the time?? =:P
