Day 1: Prejudice

Ok, could someone explain to me what prejudice is for? I know the definition is the belief that you are superior to someone for some reason, like it's not just because I am White that I am better than a mixed-race person! I wish people would understand that we are all equal, and stop using the Bible as a basis. If God is truly the God of love, why so much prejudice?
