My first concert experience

so, (not so) recently i went to my first ever concert! and even though no1 gives af abt this im gonna talk abt my first concert experience seing (cue drumroll)... Green day!

 it was kind of hard to get to my first concert, i had two concerts get cancelled b4 i could finally go, and oh man was it an experience. me and my dad got on the road at 8am and got there at about 12pm, it was very early because it wasn't a concert per se, it was a festival.

 we got there, got some food, and tried to get close to the stage. meanwhile i managed to snake my way to the front of the crowd and get barricade. after sitting there for a few minutes under the sun, some guys came over to the barricade and started spraying everyone with mist, it was so fun and everybody really close, including me, was soaked. i stood there chatting with a few other teens there and listening to the small bands before them and finally it's starting to get dark, meaning it was around time for them to come out.

 the lights on the stage dimmed, and who comes out?

 i didn't even know they were gonna be there but i got weezerd, and i just started laughing because it was so fucking funny to me. 

anyways, weezer finish playing, and out comes green day, and holy shit. i've never screamed as loud as i did when i saw billie joe armstrong. the whole show i was freaking out, tearing up, singing along, screaming, dancing and just going crazy. at one point i'm SURE billie noticed me for like a second and i freaked out. i actually started crying a little bit at good riddance, and i was super happy when they played bobby sox, one eyed bastard and know your enemy, since they're my favorite songs.

we got home at around 3am and the next day i slept till 12 and could barely walk, talk or get out of bed, but it was super worth it, it was definetly the best experience of my life
