I Accidentally Cut the Skin of My Finger

On Monday, 7 July, 2025, when opening a canned fish, I accidentally cut the skin on middle phalanx of my left index finger. It's 7 millimetres wide, a clean and straight cut. Note the shiny part, I have rubbed it with an oil (although I shouldn't actually do that). 

I hope it will reattach by itself in a week or two. Of course, it hurts and bled for at least 10 minutes. I remember once a part of my finger, I've forgotten which one, was cut by paper. It reattached I'm a week.
