Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

I have been re-reading the Harry Potter books and just finished Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. I have to say it's been awhile since I've read these books, so there was a few things I have forgotten since first reading the books. Though after reading book 6, the movies have really done this book so dirty. There was at least a good 80% of this book that was left out. Including a lot of Voldemort's background that deserved to be in the movies. I get that they can't put everything in a movie. But the chapter that was about his mother Merope Riddle would have been amazing to see to begin with. It really shows why Voldemort is incapable of love and so much more.  It just really feels the stuff they did leave out of this book to do the movie was so wrong on so many levels. And even though I like a lot of the people who they picked to play these characters in the movies. I would love a redo, mainly like a tv series to be honest. You could do a season each book and do a lot of episodes each season. It feels like it's the only way to do this story justice.
