Hello everyone!
So I decided to do an idea of kinda “correcting” the countdown. I thought about how the countdown would look like if it were based on how many times a song is played, since some songs with a higher position (Busy Woman, Abracadabra) get played less than songs in lower positions (30 FOR 30, party 4 u). I got the list from xmplaylist, which I will leave the link to it right here vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv

I am aware that the actual data on the site may have changed, so I wanna note that I originally wrote my own data on Saturday July 5th. As I am writing/publishing this the day after, Sue Me and Priceless have entered the top 30.
Without further ado….here’s your countdown!
(This does NOT include any dropouts from any dropouts from the month of May or the week of June 7th.)

My thoughts
None of this weeks or last weeks debuts appear on the countdown, which makes sense since they’re very recent songs that recently joined the mainstream. Pretty shocked Priceless isn’t on here since Hits 1 is a sucker for Maroon Five and BLACKPINK.
Lol I find it a little funny that they put NATP and What Was That the order they were announced as dropouts.
Abracadabra is literally so close to being in the bottom five. HOW is this in the actual top five???
NOKIA is also close to escaping the bottom five. Let’s see if it hits the top 20 next week
I’m very surprised at Just Keep Watching’s position. It would make sense since it’s new, but I wish it did match the position it has on the real countdown.
5 dropouts re-enter this week, with 3 being put in a row. The only ones I approve of is Cry For Me and What Was That. Sports car had a great run so I think it’s best for it to run in the abyss by itself. The other two were mid.
No abyss songs are in this week. I’m surprised Neverender isn’t in this since they’ve been playing it a lot in the past few weeks. Nether less it deserves to debut in both countdowns.
Blue Strips plays a lot more than I thought
Great to see undressed in the top 10! Well done
To nobody’s surprised Azizam is number one. In my opinion, this is the reason why I consider this to be my least favorite Ed Sheeran song since they’ve played this almost 400 times 💀. Even Shivers and Bad Habits combined sounded better than this.
Overall, I feel like this was a better organized model of what the weekend countdown should look like. I think if they did times played over the artist votes (The countdown is rigged part 1), than we wouldn’t be raging that songs in the top 10 have been there too long without doing anything and that bottom 5 songs shouldn’t be rotting in the Hits 1 basement. Hope you guys enjoyed this, and let me know if I should do this again next week since this was a pretty fun chart to make.
