folk of the air!!

hey guys i just want opinions on whether or not i should finish the folk of the air series. ive read all of the first book and about a quarter of the second book but i could nawttt finish it for some reason. i got so bored when it was just jude ordering cardan around but i absolutely loved the first one so please tell me if its worth reading and if it gets better cause im so excited to see more jude and cardan action. the slow burn is burninggggg
