weird dream #15: SpongeBob x Hideo Kojima for [certain Japanese clothing brand*]

Just when you think that the SpongeBob collab for [certain Japanese clothing brand that I know*] last year was weird enough, here comes another one, from my dream...

I walked up to [Japanese clothing brand*]'s kiosk at the ground floor of a mall, and the sign said "SpongeBob x Hideo Kojima". The resulting designs were "creepypasta inspired", as the shirts are just the character's face (like, minus the head outline) with their eyes filled with tv static (but you can still see the pupils). The exception is Squidward, who has red eyes with static sclera, because, y'know, Squidward's s*****e.

"WHO THE FCK IS HIDEO KOJIMA, AND HOW DID I KNOW HIM!?" I said to myself after waking up, so I Googled him... turns out my mind mistook some harmless, horrorless(?) video game developer for some Junji Ito guy that I've heard of once because he likes the Beatles and is well dressed and makes... scary art, if I remember correctly.

This dream isn't sponsored by [certain Japanese clothing brand*] and Kojima/Ito, my mind like to play tricks on me...

(PS: The only thing that mattered in the dream is a green cooler I found with Shrek clothes/books inside, along with a VHS of Shrek 4 and 5. That is the item I (attempted to) check out.)
