I miss roleplay!! I remember when I was like 7-10 I had absolutely no problem finding rp groups and sites, especially considering that amino was still active and up back then (and I didn't know how bad it was there yet), but now its as if roleplay between actual humans rather than ai just.. doesn't exist!!!
AI roleplay sites are not only polluting small towns and the whole earth with the simplest messages, but they also SUCK!!! AI forgets vital information, it can't stick to the rules of the world, and thanks to it being trained by everyone who uses it, it often betrays the personality of the character it plays to implement stupid traits that completely contrast the mood of the roleplay AND the character because other users like it!!!
I want a roleplay partner, I want someone who will remember the dynamic of the characters and the rules of the world! The main problem I face when trying to find a rp partner is that I don't really like roleplaying as canon characters! I absolutely SUCK at determining what's ooc and what's not, so I prefer to rp as an oc but every time I try to find a place to find other roleplayers, its always a specific fandom with a no oc rule or an insanely dry server, not to mention the INSANE audition rules for alot of rp servers!! 30 questions just so I can be my oc?? and all that just to not get accepted or have my entry never even reviewed??? yeah no.
I mainly search for roleplayers on discord but I'm starting to wonder if there's somewhere better.. I search for servers on disboard and all the ones I've joined recently have been severely dead. People have reccomended rptwt but they are also mainly fandom based!! also Twitter is horrifying and I'm scared of it.
In conclusion, if anyone knows where to find a rp partner or a rp server PUHLEASEEEE let me know. bye now!

Hey, I'm available to roleplaying aswell. Check out my blog post about "TV-show like" roleplays. In there, I offered the opportunity for everyone to do a "TV-show like" rp. See if you like it and if you wanna do it.
They're from a specific fandom though. But you can have your own oc there. If you're interested(or just curious), you can send me a private message for more details. And, of course, we can do other roleplays.
Like I said, I'm available to roleplaying.

Hey! I had this same issue.
I used to love roleplaying when I was younger, but as literacy rates seem to drop - I too found it hard to roleplay with people; and having to inconveniently remind AI's about something that happened not even 5 minutes ago. I used to LOOOOOVE rook. You could post plots, ask for stories, and it was my overall preferred rp site but the app got taken down. A website that exist is echii dream but I haven't been on there in a minute. (its absolutely lewd) and apps could be maybe discord and zervo? though zervo has changed a lot since a few years ago when I used to get on there. I wasn't very interested since the plots were really overused and or they were hard to understand/bad grammar/one liners.
I would also be down to roleplay if you'd like though :)

i stopped roleplaying a longg time ago and i was a creepypasta roleplayer so probably not ur niche, but i also understand your frustration with the lack of roleplay spaces now that aren't dry or AI. it was a simpler time back then lol
