Illustration Showcase - 04/07/25
I was going to add these illustrations to my profile but thought it would be better to just do it here! These have been done over the past 6 months, getting to know Procreate and drawing on a tablet after creating traditional art all my life :p
Fantastic Mr Fox Apple
The best performing artwork I've added to my Pinterest profile! Although thats not something I really care about. I was really proud of this once I had finished it, and this was when I started using textures like the polkadot brushes.
Oyster
I was really proud of myself for this illustration, as I had discovered a pencil brush that mimicked prismacolor pencils I use for my traditional work. There isnt much detail, but because of my use of colour I had created the sense of depth and intricacy.
Pomegranate
This pomegranate was done while waiting at the laundromat with my mum. A quick 20 minute study from pinterest.
Snom (Pokemon)
I for some reason developed a close connection to snom, despite not being involved with Pokemon for quite a few years. I used to be the BIGGEST fan when I was in primary school when I was around 10-12 years old, which I got severely bullied for. I still wonder why classmates hate when the quiet kids have pop culture obsessions, as if they don't have any themselves, lol.
Tomatoes
Another quick study from pinterest, testing out a new set of brushes.
Beetle (my pfp!)
I really love this piece. It's simple, colourful, and the perfect use for a profile picture :)
Unicorn
A recent piece I did on my uni holidays, testing out a different style to what I usually do, and after developing a hyperfixation on Tokidoki Unicornos for about a week. Once I figured out they're hard to get in Australia I kinda just fizzled out of the obsession.
