I adopted my fluffy little companion Zephyra, or Zephy as I call her, last March. Having grown up with cats my whole life and moving out into my first apartment, I couldn’t exactly stand being alone. What I wasn’t prepared for, was for her to be the most chattiest, cuddliest lady that I have ever met.

She got used to her new home and me about half an hour into being here, after that she became my little shadow and followed me around. By the end of the day, she reacted to her new name and even curled up by my head to sleep.

Whenever I come home from work, I can hear her meowing outside the door before I even reach it, and when stepping inside, she’ll rub all against me and demand to be cuddled. Even if you’re sitting down to eat, read, or just about anything, Zephy will come up and jump on your lap, nuzzling and purring before settling down onto your lap for however long you’ll let her. She does purr a lot, mostly over the most simplest things. And since my family's cat is the complete opposite of her, behavior wise, it can get a little overwhelming sometimes. But I love her, I truly do.
