Coconut Crabs are a terrestrial species of giant hermit crabs, they aren't true crabs but they can get over to three feet long and are the heaviest crabs alive, typically weighing about 10 pounds or 4.5 KG. They can also live up to 60 years old and live in big burrows under the roots of coconut trees and line the edges with the husks of coconuts. Their legs and big claws allow them to climb up coconut trees, their claws are big and strong enough to rip open a coconut so they can eat the inside (no I'm not kidding). They specifically like to feast on young green coconuts, plus they have a pinch force of 1,700 Newtons. A human's bite force on average is only 1,300 newtons. Also a coconut crab could lift up a ten year old kid if they wanted too. They can also eat other fruits, nuts, rats, sea birds, chickens, sometimes each other as well. They've been spotted occasionally climbing other trees to eat birds.
