I just got an unlocked Motorola razr v3 from eBay and got a 2FF SIM from my carrier
The card is good and ik it's activated but it keeps showing the "Check SIM" message and won't let me do anything :(
I've done some research and other people have this problem too, I guess most newer cards just aren't compatible with older phones. Some said prepaid ones from Amazon or Target have worked... I rly didn't wanna change my number (or have two different ones lol I'm not paying for two diff lines), but mostly I js wanna be sure it'll work properly before I buy anything else. Can someone help me out pls!! Thx ^_^

That is a 20 year old phone. It can only do 2G service and that can be more than a bit of a problem. USA has basically none. A few T-mobiles on either coast with little to nothing in between.
