Rule of Rose lives in my mind rent-free (and I don’t even know why) ☆彡

I don’t know exactly *why* I love Rule of Rose so much.

I just do. Deeply. Obsessively. Quietly. (。•́︿•̀。)

There are other games that have a similar aesthetic, sad little girls, weird plots, emotional soundtracks, uncomfortable atmospheres…

And yet, none of them pull me in the same way.

Nothing feels like Rule of Rose. (꒪⌓꒪)

I don’t even think I could separate the parts I like.

It’s not just the music.

Not just the story.

Not just the characters.

It’s the whole thing — all of it — together in one fragile, tragic little world.

Like a glass box full of forgotten feelings (´・_・`)♡

And what hurts the most?

This game will *probably never* get a remake or a rerelease.

Because it was banned in several countries.

Because people misunderstood what it was trying to say.

Because someone somewhere decided it was too much.

So it’s just... gone.

Left to disappear in the past. (;︿;)

And that thought breaks my heart.

Because behind that game there were hours — no, *years* — of work.

Writers, artists, designers, people who created something so heavy and quiet and full of meaning…

And now it's just slipping away, banned and forgotten. (×_×;)

Maybe that’s why I love **lost media** so much.

I’ve never been part of a big search myself, but the idea of it is sooo interesting to me (・_・、)

Not just *finding* what’s missing…

But giving value to something that someone, somewhere, made with love.

Something that almost vanished.

Something that deserves to be seen again. ☆彡

Maybe that’s what draws me in.

The idea of something quietly beautiful — hidden, almost lost — waiting to be remembered.

And maybe… it’s not about fully understanding it.

Maybe it’s enough just to feel it. (•́‿•̀)

There’s something deeply poetic about things that disappear.

And something even more special about bringing them back. ✧
