updates and thoughts

Hello it's been so long since I've made a blog or been active in general BUT I'm back! So I wanted to make a little blog!

 Half the year is gone

Its crazy that its already July. my goal was to learn to drive this summer, I even specifically didn't plan any summer classes so I could really commit and learn. But like always things came up and stopped me. I got a tooth pulled and had family over so I wasn't able to dedicate the time to learning to drive. But now all those distractions are kinda gone so now I feel like I've lost the momentum but I'm sure I'll get it back. But yeah it's scary to think the year is passing by so fast. I feel like I didn't do much this year, i haven't accomplished anything. I feel like I've spent the whole year(so far) either holed up in my room or on campus, I've rarely gone out. WELL... i go out with my family but like i mean i haven't gone out with people i'm not related to. I've been talking to myself more and more recently and it makes me feel sick. Anyway need to lock in or whatever. Also turning 21 this month, that's wild to say.

Fashion thoughts

Lately i've been trying to wear more colorful things. I previously used to wear a lot of dark colors like black, dark blue, dark green, maroon and similar colors which i now feel are so drab and dull. I recently looked through my closet and notice its almost all dark colors and long sleeves, which isn't ideal since i live in TX. That wardrobe used to work great for NY but not anymore. I also just feel like those dull colors were either because of/reinforcing my sour personality at the time. I was not doing great mentally and maybe that's why i leaned towards such dark colors. And I'm still not doing amazing but I think if I wear more bright colors maybe my atmosphere at least will brighten. I want to be more bright and cheery in general SO yeah i want to start wearing more colors! Also why is it so hard to find a nail polish color that looks okay on me????

Sewing?

For the longest time i've been wanting to learn how to sew but I don't have a sewing machine. So any sewing project I do has to be hand stitched. WICH TAKES FOREVER!!! I want to stop buying my clothes and start making them instead cus I feel like shopping for clothes is sooooo difficult and disheartening. But yeah no sewing machine:(
