Omicron

I hear about the new Omicron variant of Covid and all I can think about is Lrrr, ruler of the planet Omicron Persei 8 from Futurama *insert laughing emoji.* I can't be the only one, right?! Gosh, that's one of the best comedies i've ever seen, not just animated but in general. We didn't always have cable growing up so I was like 10,11 (most likely younger than that as well) watching "grown-up" animated shows like Simpsons, Futurama, King of the Hill, etc. I didn't understand all the "adult" humor as a kid but I found them hilarious and understood their genius even at a young age. Even crazier is that about a few weeks ago I decided to start watching Futurama again from the beginning and then this new variant name comes out lol. I'm just finishing season 6 which is the first season of the Comedy Central revival and my first reaction (back then of course) would be "yay, new/more Futurama," but so far its been hit or miss; A few stand out episodes but I think the original run was such a home run that it's tough to bring back that magic after a lapse of few years. But i still have like 3 more seasons of the revival so well see.
